Funeral services for Carroll "Dean" Cheek, 81, of Henderson will be 10:00a.m. Monday January 28, 2013 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Bill Gardner officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday afternoon at 3:00p.m. in Fort Worth , TX at Laurel Land Memorial Park .
Dean passed away January 25, 2013 in Tyler Texas. He was born February 20, 1931 to John and Myrtle Cheek. Dean was a retired electrician from Mica Corp. of Fort Worth, TX. He resided in Fort Worth until his retirement and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Henderson .
Mr. Cheek is survived by his wife of 27 years, Helen; 2 daughters; Vickie Grant of Fort Worth , TX and Mickie Cheek of Granbury , TX , 2 sisters; Veda May Huggins and Johnnie Faye Huggins, 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
