Carrol Payne's Obituary
Funeral services for Minnie Carrol Payne, age 78 of Gladewater will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11am in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Brother Scotty Fife officiating.
Mrs. Payne went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2019, in Tyler.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Buck Payne, Jr. after 52 years of marriage, her parents Samuel King Giddens and Mattie V. Martin Giddens, sisters Margie Cameron, June Heatherly, Connie Serrato, and Judy Everidge.
Carrol was born December 23, 1940 in Laredo, TX. She was a 21-year resident of Henderson and lived the past 10 years in Gladewater. She was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and wonderful homemaker. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Gladewater.
Carrol is survived by her sons Benny Payne & wife Debbie of Henderson, Jeff Payne & wife Christine of Detroit Lakes, Minn. and her daughter Teena Edwards & husband Charles of Gladewater; Grandchildren Sheena Payne, Starla, Cullen Madison & Melanie Edwards and Sadie Payne; Great grandchildren Halie Payne, Harley Smith & Branson Mitchell and sisters Joy Waldrip & Mary Giddens.
Visitation will be from 10-11 Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Leo Gonzales, Travis Chapman, Colby Smith, David Waggoner, Johnny Simmons, & Benny Payne.
