Carolyn Parker Walker's Obituary
Graveside services for Carolyn Walker, 74, of Longview will be 3:30 PM Friday, August 11, 2006 at Rosewood Park with Dr. Harlan Hall officiating. Mrs. Walker passed away Tuesday morning at her home. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walker was born May 2, 1932 in Jackson, Mississippi to Simon and Beatrice Parker. She and her husband, Gene Walker, have been in Longview for 44 years, and she was a member of First Baptist Church. She and Gene were going to be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend.
Survivors include her husband; daughter and son in law Jennifer and Brian Tompkins of Bedford, TX; son and daughter in law Mark and Karen Walker of Arlington, TX; and 4 grandchildren, Meredith Tompkins, John Tompkins, Matthew Tompkins, and Sienna Rose Walker; and 1 brother, Robert Parker of Huntsville, AL.
