Carolyn Joiner Linton's Obituary
Mrs. Linton passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Longview, Texas
Carolyn was born August 12, 1933 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Joe Brown and Evie Joiner. She was raised and went to school in Lake Wales, Florida, then she moved to Homestead where she met and married the love of her life, Robert. Carolyn loved to travel and read. She owned and operated several retail establishments during her lifetime. Her last store was in Trenton, Texas, then she retired and traveled with her husband. Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Carolyn will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter Kathy Phillips of Longview; son-in-law Harry Phillips; three grandsons, Harry David, Beau and Benjamin Phillips; sisters Joanne Davis of California, Connie Jones and Brenda McDaniel both of Lake Wales, Florida; brother Len Joiner of Vasser, Kansas as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her son Stephen and two brothers; Louie and Roy Joiner.
