Carolann Lee O'Brien's Obituary
Carol passed away April 15, 2011 after a short and intense battle with cancer.
She was born on March 8, 1964, in Harrisonville, Missouri to David Lee and Hester Sappenfield Chandler. She moved to Texas with her family shortly thereafter, and grew up in Mesquite, near Dallas.
Carol had lived in White Oak the past 21 years, and worked as a real estate agent for Premiere Management.
Carol leaves four children, Daniel O'Brien Jr. and his wife Kimbenli of White Oak, Leslie O'Brien of White Oak, Jacquelyn O'Brien of Opelousas, Louisiana, and Wyatt Zur of White Oak; three grandchildren, Skyla and Marshall O'Brien and Kaylie LaHaye, two step grandchildren, Korban and Payton Wardlaw; niece, Katherine Kennedy, nephew, Ziad Chandler.
Carol is survived also by her parents, David and Ann Chandler of Wills Point, Texas, Hester and John Potts of Ace, Texas; sister, Mariann King of Rye, Texas and loving friend and father of Wyatt, Brian Zur of Gilmer.
Carol is preceded in death by her borther, Davey Chandler, and granddaughter Chloe O'Brien; grandparents Jim and Lola Chandler, Pete and Freda Sappenfield, Frank and Thelma Steinhouser, and Lyle and Donita Embree.
Funeral services for Mrs. O'Brien will be at 2:00PM on Monday April 18, 2011 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview with interment following at White Oak Cemetery, White Oak Texas. Visitation will be Sunday April 17, 2011 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family requests that donations in Carol's honor be made to Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House 5016 Gilmer Rd Longview TX 75604.
