Carol Elizabeth Baird's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Elizabeth Baird, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and beloved friend. Carol was born on January 4th, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, and resided in Longview, Texas. She peacefully departed from this world on August 10th, 2023.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Herbert Baird Jr., and their children: sons Jeremie Baird and Richard Baird, along with their wives Christy Baird and Tammera Baird respectively; daughters Brittany Smith and Cheryl Parker, and their husbands Matt Smith and Aaron Parker; as well as her daughter Chastity Blaylock and Dee Dee Baird; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carol dedicated many years to the family used car business before retiring in 2006. She cherished moments spent with family and friends, often hosting gatherings and enjoying their company. She had a fondness for casinos, drag car races where she watched her family race, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Carol was known for her wisdom and larger-than-life personality, always speaking her mind when necessary but also doing whatever it took to maintain peace and boy did she enjoy a big ole margarita from time to time.
Carol's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her vibrant spirit and love for her family. May she rest in eternal peace.
Is there anyone who would like to speak a memory of her?
