Carmen Verhetsel's Obituary
Carmen Verhetsel, 68, formerly of Longview, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in a Garland, TX care center. Born September 13, 1936 in Longview, TX, she was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and worked as an Industrial Relations Specialist for Schlitz/Stroh?s Brewery in Longview.
She had lived in Ft. Worth for 10 years, coming from Longview.
A rosary will be recited at 11:30 AM prior to the mass at 12:00 Noon in St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Gavin Vaverek as officiant.
Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday afternoon from 4-6 PM.
Mrs. Verhetsel is survived by her daughter, Merry Verhetsel of Ft. Worth; aunt, Mrs. Helen Ray of Longview; nieces, Mrs. Scott Atkins of Midland, TX and Mrs. Patricia Harris of Alice, TX.
Also surviving are cousins, Mrs. Glynne Weesner of Plano, TX, Mrs. James Hurst of Longview, Tom Williams of Portage, OH, Michael Lohan of Monroe, LA; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Martin Piggott of Corpus Christi, TX.
