I have many warm memories of Carletta. One of the best was an evening of "foot rubbing" at the senior Raney house! She was always willing to lend a helping hand. I know she would make it possible for Madge and George to make the trek to Moore Hill after they were no longer driving on the interstate. I will miss having her with us in this world. I send my love and prayers of comfort to Noel and all of the Raneys. Jane Debenport
Carletta was a vibrant, strong, empathetic woman who I had the pleasure of working with in an ophthalmology office in Los Angeles for over 25 years. She was someone you could ask for advise and always get a down to earth answer. She always knew just what needed to be said and it didn’t matter if you were a family member, patient, coworker or a physician. She always gave 110% in whatever she was doing. She loved her family deeply and was proud of all the great things they accomplished. She had a fantastic sense of humor and if you were feeling a little down, she would know exactly what to say to bring you back up!!
Carletta and I spent many lunch hours eating together, laughing together and sharing confidences. I’ll never forget Carletta and it was a privilege to know her.
