Carl Sanders' Obituary
Services for Carl Sanders, 77, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Christopher Charles officiating. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery. Mr. Sanders passed away Monday morning in a local nursing home.
Carl was born in Mt. Pleasant on September 23, 1932 to Guy and Atlas Sanders. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was retired from Union Pacific.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Jim Sanders; daughter, Terri Sanders and Jimmy Thompson; granddaughters, Sarah Thompson and Katelyn Thompson; four sisters, Jean Schales, Myrtle Sherbert, Gracie Nell Holloway, and Margie DeSylva; and two brothers, James Sanders and A.G. Sanders.
