Carl Morris Rhyner's Obituary
Carl Morris Rhyner, age 64, of Seven Points, passed away March 8, 2017 after a sudden illness. He was born to Carl Zora and Jackie Lou Rhyner in Dallas, Texas January 23, 1953. It was in Dallas he grew up graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School. After school he immediately entered the work force. His first and only job for the next 43 years was with Penske Truck leasing as their diesel mechanic. Carl was a dedicated NASCAR fan and enjoyed burning up the road cruising on his motorcycle.
Those left to cherish Carl’s memory is his mother Jackie Thompson, siblings Stanley Thompson and Carla Rhyner Tessman, children Carla Mailco, Colby Holmes, Carl E. Rhyner, Wennonah Bibb, Hayley Canales, Stephanie Meininger, Camille Kennedy and Charisa Baumgartner. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Carl’s beloved wife Kathy Rhyner, his father Carl Zora Rhyner, step-father James Thompson and his great granddaughter Zoe Von Rhyner all precede him in passing.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of viewing Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Graveside services will be 12pm Monday, March 13, 2017 in the mausoleum at Rosewood Park in Longview. In honor of Carl the family requests this to be a dress casual service and to wear a NASCAR t-shirt if you have it.
