I am very saddened to hear of the decease of Carl Baker. Carl was married to Marian (Bean) a 1957 graduation mate of mine from Mount Vernon High School, and he and I would greatly enjoy visisting with one another at 1957 MVHS reunions. May our gracious God comfort his wife and family in his loss.
Carl was an exceptional person and friend. He so loved his community. He will be missed.
Oh my goodness so many years ago and yet such a fresh memory, it seems like yesterday we were in high school, memories that are so very precious, Carl was much loved and treasured as a friend. Bobbie Purcell Ash
I will miss his smiling face and all the kidding we did with each other. Most of all I will miss his friendship. He will be missed by many for he was a thoughtful and hard worker. I would always complain to him about the air conditioner at the church if I was hot or cold.
