Candace Miles Jackson's Obituary
On May 9, 2013, Candace Miles Jackson went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she loved dearly. Her greatest desire was to reach out to others who were hurting and comfort them as she had been comforted by the Lord. At a low point in her life, the Lord took her into His everlasting arms where she now has eternal peace.
Candace had a beautiful smile and kind heart, which instantly drew people to her. On November 1, 1998 she gave her heart to the Lord and He made her even more beautiful. Candace touched so many lives and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was an excellent nurse at a local hospital where she won three Daisy awards for her exceptional care of her patients. She had a passion for helping others. Candace was truly a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend, and blessed each one of us in her own unique way. She will be deeply missed, but she will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the many lives that she touched. We love you and miss you Candace, but we rejoice to know that you are with the Lord. Until we meet again in heaven, we will be forever grateful for having you in our lives.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Cathy Fisher; father and step mother Bill and Margaret Jackson; step father David Williams; siblings Scott Jackson and wife Tara, Alyson Harrington and husband Brad, Heather Rhea and husband Richard, Hunter Williams, and Christopher Jackson; step sisters Sheila Davis, Kelly Montgomery; step brother Chad Williams; her uncle, Michael Rathburn; nieces Ashlee Jackson and Olivia Harrington, nephew Cody Jackson and 5 step nephews, best friend Karen Aldredge, and other close relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
