Calvin E. McCuller's Obituary
Funeral services for Calvin E. ?Pops? McCuller, 77, of Longview, will be 10 AM Wednesday in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, Longview, with Reverends Calvin L. Burns and Bobby McCuller officiating. Interment will be in Shilo Cemetery, near Texarkana, at 2 PM. The family will greet friends at Rader Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
Mr. McCuller died Monday morning at his residence.
A native of Ashdown, Arkansas, he was born July 10, 1927 and was a retired minister of the Pentecostal faith and also retired from Red River Arsenal, where he was a foreman. He served his country in the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years: Martha Marie McCuller and a daughter, Janet Elaine Strasculic. He is survived by his daughters: Martha ?Lillie? Deaton and husband Eddie of Kilgore, Sarah Oliver of Kilgore, Brenda Cannon of Kilgore, JoAnn Johnson of Longview and Martha Anderson of Kilgore; Sons: John McCuller and wife Billie of Longview, Paul McCuller of Texarkana, Reverend Bobby McCuller and wife Bobbie Sue of Longview, James Harold McCuller and wife Casey of White Oak. Sister: Sarah School of Merland, California. Twenty seven 27 Grandchildren and Seventy Four 74 Great Grandchildren.
