C. Roscoe Tinsley's Obituary
C. Roscoe Tinsley, age 78, life-long resident of Longview passed away January 16, 2016. He was born to Curtis and Bessie Tinsley February 24, 1937. Growing up Roscoe attended local schools in Longview and graduated from Long View High school class of 1955.
Roscoe worked and then retired from Texas Eastman Chemical Company after 38 years. He was a faithful long time member of 1ST. Christian Church in Longview. Roscoe enjoyed Drag Racing and was on the track whenever he could.
Those left to cherish is memory is his loving wife of 56 years Merry Ann Tinsley, 3 children Deborah Aldridge and her husband John and Curtis and Eric Tinsley; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Interment will follow services at Grace Hill Cemetery. Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation at the funeral home today, Tuesday January 19, 2016 from 5pm-7pm.
