C C Pierce's Obituary
Funeral services for C C Pierce, age 96 of Mt. Enterprise, will be held Saturday December 18, 2010 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Marty Grounds officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyle-Sanders Cemetery.
Mr. Pierce died Thursday December 16, 2010 in a local nursing home.
C C Pierce was born December 15, 1914 in Nacogdoches County to John & Carrie Pierce. Mr. Pierce was retired from the Texas Highway Dept., and a member of the Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 75 years Agnes Pierce of Mt. Enterprise, they were married
October 5, 1935. Also surviving is his son Daniel Pierce & wife Nina of Longview; daughter Martha Milstead & husband Gene of Henderson, 4 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren 10 great grandchildren.
The family visitation will from 1pm ~ 2pm before the service.
Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
