B. W. Acker's Obituary
Graveside Services for B. W. Acker, 82, of Longview will be 1 PM Monday, November 11, 2013 at Meador Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas with Rev. Nathan Rogers officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 until 5 pm.
Mr. Acker was born June 14, 1931 in Jacksonville, Texas to Harvey and Ima Bounds Acker and he died Saturday, November 9, 2013 in Longview.
He served over 35 years in the Gregg County Sheriff's Department having retired in 1993. He was a longtime member of the Longview Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Bill Acker and Richard Acker; daughters, Celia Sustaire, Caroline Acker and Cheryl Jacks.
