Buvens Joseph 'BJ LeCompte's Obituary
Funeral services for Buvens Josephn "BJ" LeCompte Jr, age 67 of Laneville, will be held Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Menges officiating. Military graveside rites will follow at the Laneville Cemetery.
Mr. LeCompte died Friday July 6, 2012 at a Tyler Hospice of East Texas.
He was born March 13, 1945 to Buvens Joseph LeCompte Sr. and his wife Irene in Houma, LA. He served in the U.S. Air Force and in Air National Guard for 34 years where he was a airplane mechanic. Mr. LeCompte was a member of the Elks, American Legion and veteran of Viet Nam. He attended the Laneville United Methodist Church..
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Christina Canty.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Beverly LeCompte of Laneville, son Scott LeCompte of Hallsville, daughter Rebecca Jones of Wylie, brother Ronnie LeCompte of Houma, LA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Kerry and Vee Redden of Laneville, brother-in-laws James Gregory of Laneville, and Gerald Morrison of Laneville.
Pallbearers will be Michael Daniel, Dale Redden, Jeremy Redden, Gerald Morrison, Mike Jones, and James Gregory.
Visitation will from 6pm~8pm Monday night at the Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas 4111 University Blvd Tyler, Texas 75701, the Alzheimers Association, or the Lewy Body Association.
