Buna Steele's Obituary
Funeral services for Buna Steele, 98, of Longview, will be 10 AM Friday in the Chapel of the Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Voss officiating. Interment will follow at 11:45 AM in Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County, Texas.
Mrs. Steele passed away Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital.
Buna Steele was born in Leesburg, Texas on May 17, 1903 to Jessie and Liza Pruitt.
She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother and was a member of the Greggton Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Steele, in 1989, and a grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Elmer E. Steele and wife Syble of White Oak, Glenn Steele and wife Jo of Jasper, TX, Bobby Steele and wife, Zella of Longview, Jane Steffes and husband, Don of McPherson, Kansas; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7-9 PM.
