Buck Payne Jr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for Buck Payne Jr., age 73 of Henderson, will be held Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 10:30am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. John Work officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Payne went to be with the Lord on Friday October 9, 2009 in Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his parents Buck Sr. & Mattie Payne.
Buck Payne Jr. was born July 4, 1936 in Knott, Texas. He was a 21 year resident of Henderson where he owned his boot & shoe repair business. He was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church. Mr. Payne was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Carroll Payne of Henderson; sons & daughter-in-laws Benny Payne & wife Debbie of Henderson, Jeff & Christine Payne of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; daughter & son-in-law Teena & Charles Edwards of Gladewater; grandchildren Sheena Payne, Starla, Cullen, Madison, and Melanie Edwards, and Sadie Payne; great grandchildren Halie Payne & Harley Smith.
Visitation will be from 6~8pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Leo Gonzales, Gene Serrato, Tommy Waldrip, Buddy Long, Rick Collison, and Cambo Nelson.
