Brodie Ray Campbell's Obituary
Brodie Ray Campbell, a devoted family man and esteemed community member, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on July 20, 1960, Brodie's life was characterized by dedication, love, and a tireless work ethic.
Brodie is survived by his loving wife, Linda, his beloved son, Brodie, and his cherished daughter, Brette. He also leaves behind three treasured grandchildren, Deuce, Neal, and Stella, whom he adored and loved to spoil.
For his entire career, Brodie took great pride in operating heavy equipment. His skill and dedication in this field were unmatched, and he was known for his commitment to excellence in his work.
Outside of his professional life, Brodie had a passion for barbecuing. He loved the process of creating delicious meals on the grill, often sharing his culinary delights with family and friends. Additionally, Brodie was an avid fan of Aggie football, rarely missing a game and always cheering passionately for his team. He found peace and joy in fishing, often spending hours by the water, and these moments were some of his most cherished. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories and sharing his wisdom and love with them.
Brodie was also a dedicated member of Mobberly Baptist Church, where he actively participated in community activities and forged many meaningful friendships. His faith and commitment to his church were pillars of his life.
Brodie Ray Campbell will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, passion, and love for his family will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
A service to honor Brodie's life will be held at 10:00 AM on June 1, 2024,in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Visitation will be the night before, on May 31, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm, at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited
Children or Mobberly Baptist Church in his memory.
