Brian Paul Morlock's Obituary
Paul Brian Morlock died Sunday, July 31, 2005, following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 21, 1956 in Wharton, Texas to Robert and Pauline Karl Morlock. A former resident of Arlington, Texas, Brian had resided in Longview for three years. He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and a Master of Science in Chemistry. He was a member of Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Fraternity. He was a chemical research scientist, working in the field of air quality control.
Brian is survived by his parents, Robert and Pauline Morlock of Longview; his sisters: Mary Gail Michael Buzzella of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Peggy Morlock of Liberty, MO, and Linda Ray Langlois of Cedar Park, Texas; his brothers: Michael Nancy Morlock of Evergreen, CO, Bruce Vicki Morlock of Bellville, TX, and John Adamina Morlock of Big Bend, National Park; 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Rose Morlock and William and Christina Karl.
Brian dedicated his life to promoting the preservation of the earth?s natural resources. He took every opportunity to experience the wonders of nature and to share this passion with others. Brian embraced all living things with unconditional love and recognized the beauty in all of God?s creation.
The Rosary for Brian Morlock , 49, of Longview will be recited at 7 PM Tuesday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd. Family visitation will precede and follow the Rosary service. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday at St. Mary?s Catholic Church by Fr. Denzil Vithanage, S.S.S. Burial will be Friday at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri.
