Brent Tyl's Obituary
Russell Brent Tyl, born September 14, 1967 in Texarkana, TX, passed from this life on November 27, 2013 at the age of 46, at his home near Shreveport, LA. Brent’s family moved to White Oak, TX shortly after his first birthday and that is where he was raised and lived most of his life. He graduated from White Oak High School in 1986.
After graduation Brent worked briefly as a heavy equipment operator and for a short time as a new car salesman. However Brent’s main career was as a distributor and manager for Mac Tools. Brent began his career with Mac Tools in 1991 in the Longview, TX area and later transferred with Mac Tools to Corpus Christi, TX. This is where he met and married the love of his life, Frances Pivonka. After a few years in Corpus Christi they transferred with Mac Tools to Lafayette, LA and after a brief time there, transferred again with Mac Tools to Shreveport, LA where he lived and worked the remainder of his life.
Brent was known as a clown and a practical joker. He enjoyed music, playing guitar and riding his Harley-Davidson. Brent also loved to entertain and cook, and was always known to throw a good party and to serve a big feast to his guest.
Brent is survived by his wife Frances, parents Nelson & Nell Tyl, brother & sister-in-law Tim & Sissy Tyl, father-in-law Lane Moore, sister-in-law Vicki Moore, nephews Shannon Tyl, Wesley Tyl, Vincent Tyl and niece Shaynee Tyl. He is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX on Sunday, December 1st from 2-4 PM. Services will be held at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX at Noon on Monday, December 2nd. Graveside service and interment will follow later that afternoon at Chapelwood Cemetery in Texarkana, TX.
