I knew Brenda from the time I came to Longview Regional many years ago, but I got to know her better after her accident when I was helping to get her plans together for leaving the hospital and progressing with recovery. Brenda was always a gracious person and even through her discomfort she was a joy to work with. It was great to see her be able to return to work after that and to see her smile each and every time we encountered each other. Your mother was a wonderful person. I enjoyed working with her. She enjoyed frequent shoulder rubs when they hurt. She would call me in questioning voice "Beckie what'ya doin'". I knew then that her shoulders or back hurt. She always put forth great effort in all that she did. Melissa, I enjoyed hearing of the impending grandbaby. She was so excited. Cody, she was proud of your accomplishment of college. She looked forward to the day of your graduation. She had gleaming eyes of pride when talking about her children. I will miss her very much.
