Brenda Mae Wilson Welch
Funeral services for Brenda Mae Wilson Welch, 60, of Hallsville will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, December 16, 2006 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Neal Thornburgh officiating. Burial will be in Hallsville Cemetery. She passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Brenda was born January 24, 1946 in Lake Jackson, Texas to H. V. and Ruby Wilson. She grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School and then attended nursing school. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Longview Regional Medical Center, and a former longtime employee of Good Shepherd Medical Center. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Brenda was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was so excited about being ?Grannie? to her first granddaughter in May, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Anne Wilson; niece, Donna Dorris; nephew, Dwight Wilson; and great-niece, Shelly Ledbetter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Ron Welch of Hallsville; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and James Goulden of Longview; son Cody Welch of Arlington, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Waurene and Lucius Wright of Hallsville and Janna and David Heath of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
