Funeral services for Bonnie Jean Hull Maines, 78, of Longview, will be 2 PM Saturday at the Winterfield United Methodist Church with Reverend Rita Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery, Longview. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, Longview, on Friday from 6 to 8 PM...
Mrs. Maines went to be with her Lord Wednesday afternoon at her residence.
Bonnie Jean was born October 26, 1929 in the Fairplay Community, Panola County, Texas to Joe and Lillian Hull, who preceded her in death. She was a share-croppers daughter, loving wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Bonnie Jean loved baking, traveling, gardening, the lake and taking care of her kids. She was co-founder, with Ben, her life partner of 58 years, of Ben Maines Air Conditioning Company. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Gary Maines.
She is survived by her life partner: Ben of Longview; children: Barry Maines and wife Liz of Longview, Randy Maines and wife Karen of Longview and Patty Wunneburger and husband Doug of Bryan, TX; grandchildren: Kristin Tolman, Melissa Maines, Mindy Nicholson, Alicia Taylor, Amee Snapp, Chris Linton, Anne Wunneburger, Abby Wunneburger and Aaron Wunneburger and great grandchildren: Cierra Tolman and Colby Linton.
The family wished to express their gratitude to the caregivers for their love and care of Bonnie Jean.
