I came to know Bonnie when eating dinners with my Mom at Arbor House / Colonial Oaks assisted-living in Garland TX. She was so sharp and so nice! Several times she'd be partway thru a story and the attendant would come to the table to take her order or bring food. Bonnie would graciously stop and take care of business. Then to my amazement, and at 100+ years old, would resume her story at the exact place she left off! And for all those years of living, she could always listen excitedly to someone else's tale, usually with that trademark smile of hers.
