Bonnie Lynn Gomer's Obituary
Bonnie Lynn Gomer passed from this life on September 16th, 2018 at the young age of 37. Bonnie was a bright light that touched everyone she encountered. She was friendly, outgoing and loved her family and friends without question. She lived only a short 17 months after her diagnosis and removal of a brain tumor, but during those 17 months she fought with all her might to live.
Bonnie was born on October 31st,1980, in Longview, Texas to Terry (Westbrook) Warr and Bobby Gomer. She became a radiology technician then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While completing her degree Bonnie was a substitute teacher for several area schools. She had just started her Master’s degree when she got sick. Bonnie loved making crafts, spending time with her daughter and was an amazing artist.
She is survived by her mother Terry Warr, father Bobby Gomer. Her precious daughter whom she loved more than life itself, Hannah Anthony, Her brothers Chase Warr and Adam Warr. Her maternal grandparents Birney and Jo Nell Westbrook, her paternal grandmother Virginia Gomer, Her aunt and uncle Kelly and Mark Moore, her uncle and aunt Wes and Debbie Westbrook, an uncle Gary Gomer and a great uncle Johnny Gomer. Her cousins J.R. and Heather Westbrook, Lauren and Shane Davidson and Brian and Mary Westbrook, Brook Moore, Madison Moore and Holly Moore, Lori Hutte and her husband Aaron, Lee Gomer, and many other cousins. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Fritz and Bonnie Deutsch, George and Willie Westbrook, Carolyn and F.A. Faulkner, Robert Gomer and Aunt Debbie Gomer.
The family will have visitation for their sweet Bonnie on Thursday September 20th from 6 to 8 at Rader Funeral home. Her service will be held on Friday September 21st at 2 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
