Bonnie Frances McGraw's Obituary
Funeral services for Bonnie Frances McGraw, 85, will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Longview at Camille Acres Baptist Church in Longview, Saturday, February 16, 2013 starting at 10:30 am
Mrs. McGraw was born October 27, 1927, the fifth of five children of R.F. and Duffie Gathright Hooker in Nashville, Arkansas. She was married to Joe McGraw on April 17, 1949 in Kilgore, Texas. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage. She was a devoted and ideal pastor's wife, help-mate, home maker, and mother of two children. After moving about following different pastorates and schools they moved to Longview in 1962 where she became a member of Ware Acres Baptist Church, now Camille Acres Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her church and enjoyed working with young girls in their auxiliary work. She also enjoyed being a member of the LeTourneau University's Women's Bible Study Group.
Bonnie enjoyed camping, especially in Colorado and at Lake O' The Pines. She also enjoyed going with Joe to his summer institute programs.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Bonnie will be missed by her husband, Joe McGraw of Longview and by her children, Teresa Kahler and her husband Jerry of Tyler; Don McGraw and wife Vickie of Tatum; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6 pm-8 pm
