Can you say out loud that you have favorites in your family? Aunt Bonnie was my favorite Aunt and her three girls are my favorite cousins! So many great memories of Christmas Eve family gatherings with Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Philip, Jan, Joan and Jeana. When I was a child, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Philip let me roam their massive backyard to my heart’s content. To me, their yard was a beautiful botanical garden and bird sanctuary all in one. In my adult years, Aunt Bonnie continued to mentor me. Every conversation and correspondence ended with “I love you”. She was a woman filled with grace, kindness, and compassion. What a wonderful world it would be if every child had a favorite Aunt Bonnie to love them unconditionally throughout their entire lives.
