Bobby Wilks' Obituary
Bobby Edwin Wilks was born in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana on September 18, 1927 to Paul and Lurline Wilks. The family moved to Gladewater in 1933. He graduated from Gladewater High School in 1945 and then served soon after in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He married Ellen Hall in 1952 and moved back to Louisiana. The family lived in Lake Arthur, LA before moving to Pine Hill after he retired from Mobile Oil Co. He was a member of Pine Hill Methodist Church, Pine Hill Masonic Lodge #95, Lake Arthur Lodge #346, the Louisiana Scottish Rite in Lake Charles.
He is survived by his daughter Edwina Kay Wilks, his sister Sandra McGill, brother Gerald Wilks, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Bobby will be held at Martin Cemetery on County Line Rd. on Friday, December 22 at 11 am. The visitation for Bobby will be held Thursday evening from 4:30 to 6 pm at Rader Funeral Home of Henderson
