Funeral services for Bobby Mayfield, 86, of Longview will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Network411 in Longview, Texas. Mr Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Pinetree Lodge in Longview. Mr. Mayfield was born on April 11, 1938, to Denman and Trixie Mayfield.
Mr. Mayfield loved spending time with his family. Bobby worked for Brown and Root for many years. In his later years, he worked in the maintenance department for the Fairfield School District. He loved and raised beagles. He always had a garden and the best tomatoes! He also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He will be so missed by his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters and sons-in-law Alana and Mark Blanks, Stacy and Gene League; daughter Sheri Meador; son and daughter-in-law Bryan and Jennifer Mayfield and many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family.
