Bobby Don Jones' Obituary
Graveside services for Bobby Don Jones, 60, of Henderson, will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Artie Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Jones died Sunday, October 25, 2009, at his residence.
He was born June 17, 1949, in Henderson to Curtis S. and Margaret P. Carter Jones. He was a graduate of Henderson High School, received a bachelors degree from Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, a masters degree from Evangel Assembly of God University in Springfield, MO., and a graduate degree from British Columbia, Canada. He did chaplaincy training while attending Lon Morris in Jacksonville.
Bobby loved music and guitars. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving is his mother, Margaret P. Jones of Henderson; uncle, Artie Jones and wife Evadene of Price; special friend, Isabel Chacon of Frisco; numerous cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
