Bobbie Sue Green's Obituary
Funeral services for Bobbie Sue Green, 74, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Monday, July 9, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Rev. Scott Schulik officiating. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery in Gilmer, TX. Mrs. Green passed away Thursday evening in Longview after a lengthy illness. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3-5 PM.
Bobbie Sue Harty McAdoo Green was born on October 18, 1937 in Gilmer, Texas to Robert and Janie Harty. She was born again into the family of God at age 13 and she was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church. Bobbie retired from JC Penney in 1998 after 20 years of service working in the Fine Jewelry and Cosmetic Merchandise Departments.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jerry Harty; and nephew Paul Harty.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Green; son, David McAdoo; daughter Debra Pena and husband Zeke; and daughter, Janet Dancer. She is also survived by her step-son, Jimmy Green, and step daughter Kay Reid and husband Doug; her grandchildren Larry Adams, Ashley Adams, Dustin Pena, Luke Dame, and Brittany Adams; her step-grandchildren, Brittany Reid, Bridgett Reid, Brooke Reid, and Adam Green and wife Heather; her great grandchildren Cameron Hudman, Jourdin Hudman, and Kohl Adams; step great grandchildren Jack Green and Claire Green; her nephew Jared Harty and wife Melissa and daughter Sydney; and niece Amber Sims and husband Rick and their children Austin and Ashley.
