To the Family: I am truly sorry for your great loss. I pray the good memories of Mema will give you more smiles to replace the tears you have shed.
Mema has left me a beautiful rosary in which I will use while thinking of her. She gave willingly of her heart and so generiously her smiles. I was fortunate to have one of her last dances while at her granddaughter's wedding.

Bobbie, or Mema as everyone called her, was my grandmother. She was one of God's children, and she never passed by anyone without smiling at them and sharing a kind word. She always told me she loved me, and how lucky i was to have such wonderful parents who cared about me so much. As a child, Mema wan't loved very much, yet her heart was still so open to love during her whole life. She lost her mother, her husband and her first child. Its funny how some people, who have lost everything, are often much more open to love than those who've lost nothing.

Every summer i'd visit Mema. It would be the highlight of the summer. This year I'll visti her grave. Every sunday, we would call her, but this sunday we wont be able to.

I hope you're happy up there in heaven Mema, because we sure do miss you down here. I love you and i'll miss you forever.

I am forever grateful to Bobbie for being my spiritual advisor and sponser these many years. She made a difference in my life and in the lives of so many.
I know God has her sitting right beside him,exactly where she belongs. I will carry her spirit of unconditional love with me always.

Dear Joan,Cotton, and family,
God has truly called one of his children home. The thing that Bobbie shared with me is that how wonderful our lives are through the grace and love of God, and that no matter who we are or what we've done in this life we are always worthy to be called a child of God. Bobbie was a dear friend of mine. We spoke on the telephone on the night before her surgery.
we were making plans for a weeklong visit to Longview when she was well again. Now she is in the arms of Jesus and I will miss her so much. She was a special person who loved everyone. She gave from the heart. You can be so proud of your mom.##imported-begin##Betty Richardson##imported-end##

Sorry to hear about your Mom. Its been a long time since I have seen most of you but I do remember visiting when your Mom and Dad lived by Lake Michigan. I guess that was the last time I saw her. I'll remember you all in my prayers.
