Bobbie Wyer Capps' Obituary
Bobbie Jean Capps, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home June 26, 2021. She was born October 8, 1931 to Lester and Ina Wyer in Wharton, Texas. She married her friend and love Thomas Capps. Thomas proceeded her in death in 2001. One of Bobbie’s sons, Kenneth Woolf proceeded her in death in 1981.
Bobbie loved to help people and give to charity. She was always available for her loved ones and helped without judgement. She was upbeat. Her favorite saying was “happiness is and inside job.” She was strong, determined, and empowered others. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She loved big and was a caring friend.
Bobbie loved to work in the yard. She liked a good puzzle. She was a great golfer and won many awards for her abilities. She even had a hole- in- one. She spent many years bowling on a league team. She traveled to may places and cherished the time that she had on the teams. She was an exceptional bowler that was always trying to pass her knowledge on to others. One of her favorite downtime hobbies is going to the casinos.
Bobbie worked for many years for the post office and retired from there. She worked several positions.. She worked the graveyard shift. She was proud to test and promote to the mail processing machine. She always tried to learn new things and committed to do her very best.
Bobbie is survived by her brother J. W. Wyer; her three sons and their wives, Robert and Leovie Woolf, John Woolf and Mechell Jackson, Dennis and Lupe Woolf; grand children Nate Choate, Ethan Woolf, Monica Ivy, Mike Woolf, Kenny- Ray Woolf, Christina Woods, Dale Woolf; plus five great grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews. She loved everyone whole- heartedly.
