Reverend Bob Bolding
Memorial services for Reverend Bob Bolding, 78, of Kilgore will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Mobberly Baptist Church with the Reverends Bill Parr and Scott Schulik officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Saturday, January 21, in a Longview hospital.
Bob was born March 5, 1933 in Coweta, OK and was a resident of Kilgore since 1981. He was a graduate of Coweta High School, Oklahoma Baptist University and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Colorado. After his retirement from his ministry, he worked for the Gregg County Juvenile Probation Department. Bob was a very active member of Mobberly Baptist Church and a former member of the Singing Men of East Texas.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruby Bolding.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia Bolding of Kilgore; children, Pam Hall and husband Larry of Sugar Land, TX, Paul Bolding and wife Cyndi of Tyler, TX and Boyd Bolding and wife Kim of Longmont, CO; sister, Lynda Shannon and husband Jim of Little Elm, TX; and his grandchildren, Amy, Tracy, Molly, Casey, Carly, Katelyn and Rebecca; and several nieces and nephews.
