Blake Allen McFarland's Obituary
Our beloved Blake Allen McFarland was born on July 23, 1997, in Bedford, TX. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He passed away in the home he shared with his Mother and Stepfather in Bedford, TX. He graduated from Birdville High School in 2015. Blake loved playing and collecting video games, reading and collecting books, cinema, theater, hanging out with his friends, and most of his youth was spent playing on baseball teams coached by his Grandpa. Blake was employed as a Union Auto Worker and recently celebrated his 5 year anniversary with Lear Corporation.
Blake was taken from us much too soon. He brought great joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. Though his time on earth was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert L. Higgins, Roger and Nelda Casey, and paternal grandparents Don and Shirley Weaver.
Blake is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Kelly and Ronnie Yoder of Bedford, TX; Father and Stepmother, Shawn and Cynthia McFarland of Plano, TX; Uncle and Aunt, Todd and Maggie Higgins of Mansfield, TX; Aunt Christie Weaver of Corona, CA, Aunt Tona Carter of CA, as well as cousins Colby Horne, Kyle Horne, Lauren Horne, Liam Higgins, Rachel Swangel, Alex Swangel.
Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, 6:00pm-8:00pm, at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., Longview, TX 75601. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 2:00pm at Rader Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 W. Harrison Rd., Longview, TX 75604.
