Funeral Services for Bill Wages, 63, of Longview, will be held at Noon, Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Pastor Leon Veazey officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
The family will received friends from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Wages was born on February 12, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Gordon and Nadine Wages. He passed away on March 17, 2003 in a Longview nursing facility.
He was a machinist for LeTourneau Inc., a master mason, and a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed wood work, and music, and was a talented guitarist.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Wages was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beverly Wages of Longview, son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Lisa Wages of Longview, daughters, Rhonda Rancour of White Oak, Karen Wages of Houston, grandchildren, Casey Porter, Leah Wages, Blake Rancour, Melissa Wages, Rodney Rancour, Lucas Carrington, and brothers, Dennis Wages, James Wages, and Gene Wages.
Memorials may be made to: Hospice Longview, 1306 Pine Tree Road, Longview, Texas 75604.
