Billy Wayne Parker's Obituary
Graveside services for Billy Wayne Parker, 69, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Rosewood Park with Chaplain Dick Lindsey officiating. Mr. Parker passed away Friday afternoon in a local hospital. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Billy Wayne was born on September 12, 1940 in Palestine, Texas to Jessie and Eunice Parker. He recently retired from LeTourneau, INC as an electrical operator after more than 43 years. Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and he was a big history buff. Billy loved watching western?s and war movies, Sunday drives, and enjoyed cooking for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Birthel Parker; his son, Jed Parker and his wife Stacey; daughter, Lesa Parker Miller and her husband Jim; son, Torrey Parker; his brother, Edgar Parker of Elkhart; and his grandchildren, Chloe Parker, and Talon Miller.
