Billy Plummer's Obituary
Billy Ray Plummer, 77, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 in Longview, Texas. He was born on July 28, 1938, to Henry and Margaret Plummer. Bill was an avid fisherman and excellent carpenter/builder, creating many beautiful pieces of furniture and clocks. He served his country as a seaman in the United States Navy. He was a district manager for Walmart for over 20 years. Bill loved people and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Cherie Plummer. Bill is survived by his wife Sandie, along with two sons, Jimmy Plummer of Longview, Texas and Chris Plummer of Buford, Georgia, and daughter Morgan Plummer of Bethany, Louisiana. Bill has 3 grandchildren; Katie, Jack, and Hayden. Also surviving him is a sister, Patsy Plummer Guy, and one niece, Vivian Guy.
Graveside services for Bill will be at 10 am on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Judson Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart’s Way Hospice.
