Billy Eugene Parr's Obituary
Billy Eugene Parr was born September 26, 1943, in Waco, TX to Alton “Buddy” Parr and Bobbie Rascoe Parr. He passed away on September 5, 2023. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School. On May 28, 1966, he married the love of his life Dianne Womack. He retired from AEP- SWEPCO. Billy loved God, his family and any sport involving a ball. His delight was attending the College World Series Baseball Championship for over 20 years with his best friend Charles and then with his daughter Shelia. Billy was also a loyal Longview Lobo fan for 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda and her husband Jim. He is survived by his wife Dianne, daughter Shelia, son-in-law John and granddaughter Simone as well as Dianne’s siblings and their families. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 23rd 2pm at Longview First United Methodist Church with visitation to follow.
