Funeral services for Mr. Billy W. Lindley, 83, of White Oak, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in White Oak with Brother Kenny Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Chalk Hill Cemet Read Obituary

My heartfelt condolences to Bill's family. Bill and my Dad, Joe Pruitt, were friends for many years, as well as bandmates. I don't think I ever saw Bill where he was not smiling or joking around and making everyone around him smile. Sure he is playing music with my Dad, David Williams, and most of the rest of the guys from the old days I remember him playing with, in heaven .
I was a fan of the WindRiver Band for several years while Bill was their drummer and eventually I took Bill's place when job responsibilities forced him to leave the band. Bill was very helpful in the transition, and though we lost touch with each other in later years, he was a good friend and I will always remember him fondly.
