My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. It has been decades since Billy and I were still teenagers and working at Clyde Shelton's Scrap Metal Yard. He was an usher at our wedding when Joyce and I were married. When we returned from our honeymoon we lived in that little house on Melvin street that we rented from Billy's Parents. I bought my one and only motercycle from Billy's mother. My memory of billy is of that smile that seemed to always preceed him. Billy will be missed by many. He was a great guy and he and my husband, Ernie Semety who died on April 30, 2005 from cancer, were very good friends. They bowled together for many years and they also stayed in touch outside of bowling. I remember answering the phone and Billy would say, "Is Ernie there?" Billy called many, many times. Some times to just say hello and keep in touch. At times he would call to see if my husband was going to bowl in colorama. My husband would ask me if I wanted to go and I'd ask, "Is Marilyn going?" Billy would turn to Marilyn and say, "if you go Vickie will go," and Marilyn always said she would go! She was a wonderful wife and Billy loved her so. He loved his children, and Mother and the rest of his family with a great love. Now, my husband and Billy are bowling together in the BIG bowling alley in heaven. When I hear thunder from now on, I'll think of Billy and Ernie bowling in heaven. May God give the family peace during these times.##imported-begin##Vickie Semety##imported-end##
