Billy L. ?B. J.? Davis
Funeral services for Billy L. ?B. J.? Davis, 49, of Gilmer will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2006 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Joe Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Park. He passed away Friday, April 7, 2006 in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
B. J. was born November 20, 1956, in Dallas, Texas to Bill and Shirley Davis. A former resident of Longview, he had been a resident of Gilmer for the past 12 years. He was a salesman with Sysco Food Services and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Brenda Davis of Gilmer; daughter, Kirston Davis of Overton; parents, Bill and Shirley Davis of Hallsville; brother, Al Davis of Hallsville; sister, Linda and Steve Nash of Round Rock, TX; step-daughter, Carla Mailco and husband Chuck of Arlington; step-sons, Carl Rhyner and wife Tammy of Gilmer, Rickey Manes and wife Delanie of Diana, and Kevin Manes and wife Jamey of Grand Saline, TX; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
