Billy Joe Jordan's Obituary
Memorial services for Billy Joe Jordan, 72, of Longview will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverends Tim Watson and Dewayne Beaty officiating. Private family burial will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home. He passed away Thursday, August 4, 2005 in a Longview hospital.
Mr. Jordan was born March 3, 1933 in Kilgore to William and Quimbia Williams Jordan. He was an operator trainer at Texas Eastman for 31 years, and a Baptist.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eugene ?Gene? Jordan, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Charlene Boothe Jordan of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Wayne and Lesley Jordan of Longview, Kent Jordan of Hallsville, Dale and Paula Jordan of Kilgore, and Carl and Monica Jordan of Brentwood, TN; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister-in-law, Margaret Jordan of Longview; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and James Richey of Odessa, TX, and Lanell and Arvin Crawford of Greenville, TX.
