Billy Joe Hardwick's Obituary
Graveside services for Billy Hardwick , 78, of White Oak will be noon Thursday, March 3rd at the Old White Oak Cemetery with Pastor Ike Roberts officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Hardwick died Tuesday morning at a Longview hospital.
He was born December 15, 1926 at Three Sands, Oklahoma to Leslie A. and Eula Jones Hardwick. A resident of the White Oak and Longview area for most of his life, Mr. Hardwick was a pipeline welder and was retired from the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Co. He was a member of McCary?s Chapel United Methodist Church at Liberty City and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 59 plus years, Velma Lee Hardwick of White Oak; son, Robert Hardwick of Lakeport; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Pam Hardwick of White Oak; son, Jerry Hardwick of White oak; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Norma Odom of White Oak and a sister, Opal Gregory of Universal City, Texas.
