Billy Joe Evans Jr.'s Obituary
Billy Joe Evans, Jr., 48 of Gladewater, Texas was born on May 5, 1972 in Frankfurt, Germany to his father Billy and mother, Marion. He entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, August 21, 2020.
He left this world exactly how he lived it. With unapologetic love and faith in Jesus. Even in his last few days, he continued to listen to worship music, clench his cross necklace, prayed for others around him in the hospital to hear from the Lord and be led by Him, and he clung to the promises of our good, good Father.
He lived life with full abandon and was never ashamed to share with others about the gospel. He was deeply rooted in God's Word and had the biggest faith. He lived a life so full of grace and he loved BIG and gave generously. He was the most faith-filled, humble human being and all those that met him loved him.
Billy is survived by his father, Billy Joe Evans, Sr. of Groveland, Florida and his mother, Marion Bryan and husband, Lowell of Longview, Texas; wife, Tiffany Evans of Gladewater, Texas; daughter, Jessie Ledbetter and husband, Kolton of Longview, Texas; daughter, MaKayla Police of Gladewater; son, Korbin Evans of Gladewater; grand-daughter, Kinlee Ledbetter of Longview; brother, Thomas Evans and wife, Kim of White Oak, Texas; sister, Linda Young and husband, Jimmy of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; a huge extended family through marriage, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and spiritual family.

The family requests that no one wear black, as Billy lived his life in full color. Flowers can be delivered to Grace Creek Church on Thursday from 9-4 and Friday from 9-12.
