Billy Carl Medders' Obituary
Billy Carl Medders Funeral services for Billy Carl Medders, 67, of Tatum will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Pastor Brian Shobert officiating. Burial will be in Memory Park Cemetery. He passed away Saturday, June 28, at his residence in Tatum. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Medders was born January, 9, 1941 in Mart, TX to Floy and Evelena Medders and had been a resident of Tatum for most of his life. He was a farmer and was formerly employed with Winn Dixie as a butcher for 44 years. Mr. Medders was a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving children which include his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Donna Medders of Longview; daughters and son-in-law, Dana and Kim Minor of Henderson, Cindy Medders and Melody Sterns both of Tatum; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Lawson of Gladewater, Gloria and Al Timmons of White Oak and Gayle and Jerry Hadaway of Pritchett; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Medders was loved and will be missed by a host of other family and friends.
