Billy Bryant Strickland's Obituary
Funeral services for Bill Strickland, 73, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock am Friday March 25, 2005 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel 1617 Judson Road with Ritchie Hamm officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Strickland passed away Tuesday March 22, 2005 in Longview.
He was born November 17, 1931 in Canton, Texas to Homer and Hazel Fincher Strickland. He had lived in Longview since 1969 and was a General Contractor and
A Veteran of the Korean War, he was also a member of the Body of Christ Church in Longview.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Armstrong Strickland of Longview, children, Richard Strickland of Longview, Nancy Rittenberry and husband Norman of Duncanville, TX.;
Allen Strickland and wife Tina of Longview, Jamie Austell and husband Michael of Longview, Greg Gullett and wife Lee Ann of Austin, TX.; grandchildren, Michael Walker, John and Taylor Rittenberry, Emily Austell, George Mason, Jack and James Gullett, sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Avery Womble of Tyler, TX.; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Dee Strickland of Austin, TX.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday March 24, 2005 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
