Billy was born November 1, 1948 in Rusk County, TX, to George Arnold and Ollie Ritter Arnold and he attended Rusk County Schools before moving to Longview. He and his wife, Patricia Hudman Arnold, enjoyed 46 wonderful years of marriage. They raised their family in Longview.
As a teenager, Billy began working in the home improvement industry and was able to help support his mother and younger family members. He eventually started his own company, Arnold Exteriors, in Longview. He and his wife worked together for many years to build a successful company before he took an early retirement due to health issues. Although he had many interests, spending time with his family and friends was his most treasured pastime. Billy was a very playful man and was well known for pulling the occasional prank or two.
